Are you starting the rumour or quoting it from somewhere?
Tue Jun 24, 2014 8:55 pm
Will that be just exclusive to Uruguay or Uruguay and Liverpool?
Tue Jun 24, 2014 9:06 pm
Banned by FIFA, can't see it just being international games must be both.
Tue Jun 24, 2014 9:26 pm
Hope you're right.

He's done it 3 times now, ban him from professional football
Tue Jun 24, 2014 9:38 pm

As much as it seems a bit ban I think the dirty fucker needs something like a year ban. Couldn't see him getting life although it could be argued (and millions would agree) he deserves it.
It's crazy, even united fans were saying how class he was after the goals he scored against England and a game on he's gone completely the other way.

Bet they were counting the cash when he scored them 2 against England, he more or less paved the way to Spain by becoming an English hate figure..
He won't be going nowhere this summer

Luis Suarez has brushed off his biting incident with Giorgio Chiellini by claiming: "These things happen".
The controversial Uruguay striker appeared to sink his teeth into the Italian defender during his side's 1-0 win.
The referee missed the aciton but Fifa confirmed they will investigate and he could face a TWO YEAR ban.
After the game Suarez, speaking to Uruguyan TV, said: "These situations happen on the field. I had contact with his shoulder, nothing more. Things like that happen all the time."
Asked about the prospect of FIFA action against him, Suarez said: "I don't know anything about that. If FIFA analyse each case separately, it's going to be complicated."
It is the third time he has been spotted taking chunks out of oppositions; he was banned for seven matches for biting PSV Eindhoven midfielder Otman Bakkal and then handed a 10 match ban for attacking Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic.

If I bit someone where I work I'd get the sack and prob charged with assault, make an example of Suarez and ban him for life

When FIFA ban its for all football matches make no mistake about that. Hes stayed at Liverpool for Champions League and will return after they are out of the competition in my opinion.
Tue Jun 24, 2014 10:50 pm
My belief is he will be banned until at least next year. If FIFA don't ban him from both international and club football it will be a farce. Once is a mistake, two times is criminal but three times? Throw the book at him.

Too drastic to ban him for a whole season. I expect a 12 game ban
Tue Jun 24, 2014 10:55 pm
8 games is the record to date, so 24 games unlikely

Surely not he had 10 games last time and this time its on the World stage. I'm predicting minimum of 6 months

If that's the case, then what would Zidane have got if he continued playing in the WC final? Although what he's done is disgusting and unhuman like, but I doubt they'd ban him for that long.

FIFA banned Caniggia got a 13-month ban for taking cocaine in 1993 is biting an opposition player for the third time worse then taking some Charlie..?

The difference is that Zidane hadn't been banned for the same offence twice previously

Thank you Barney, won't be doing this forever but it's something I wanted to do. I like this forum and wanted to give something back.
Dando - He bit someone in 2010 whilst playing for Ajax as well as ivanovic and Chiellini. The question is do FIFA have the power to ban him from international AND club completions?

Ban him till 2015. Longer than his previous ban but a two year ban would be unrealistic. He's one of the best players in the world so I can't see FIFA suspending him for too long

f**k it Messi and Ronaldo should start punching defenders now, probably get minimal bans due to how talented they are.
