Always wondered if it was going to happen to be honest. Large parts of the crowds are mixed at every game. You get some countries with fiery fans like the Croats on the piss all day who have just been knocked out then it can easily happen.

Why did they mix the fans, thats just asking for trouble!

It would be nice to think that everyone could enjoy themselves all mixed together but let's face there was always the chance this could happen. Scenes like this could become more common in the knockout phases than the first two games now elimination is at stake. That guy with his top off looks a bit loony to me

That's absolutely shocking... at about 90 seconds in, you can clearly see the guy at the front having a sneaky smoke!!! If I done that over here I'd be frogmarched straight out!

The Croatian fans will never back off, just coming out of a war a few years back, this will have seemed like a Sunday afternoon stroll in the park, most of these fans wouldn't even get a telling off for this, amazing as if this happened in the UK you would be straight off to prison and a million years football banning order for every ground in the world with you passport taken off you for 100 years
