He can be good in small moments, what got me is when he said someone went into a challenge with full intent to win the ball then said on the replay he had no intention of getting the ball.

Really poor commentator. Only there because he has this reputation for being highly intelligent. Intelligent he may be but he is not a broadcaster, uses about 50 words, some which have no right to be used regarding football to say something that could have been said in one sentence.
