kenwyne jones

Although i was extremely disappointed with KJs effort, or lack of, last year, i believe that if his ego is in check and he acknowledges the hypothesis that a bit -part Championship role is a level suited to his ability , that he can do well for us next year. Aerially he would dominate mid/bottom half teams, and would be efficient in holding the ball up with relative ease, and for that reason id be keen to keep him as a SQUAD ROTATION player, behind the three newbies and mason, yet probably controversially infront of Manyard. Anyone else share a similiar viewpoint here, or am i just a casnewydd spacker with no idea? cheers babycakes, lots of love hugs and kisses

Guerra and Macheda are both target men type of forwards aren't they? If they are I think he will be gone

I agree with you "portblue" - if he can get over his lazy tag - he could cause championship defenders havoc? COULD but i'm still not convinced.

Might not be that easy to get rid of him, that's the problem.

Or we should offload him because of his Premier League wages.

He'll never get his ego in check sadly. He's always been lazy and unmotivated which is a shame because he is talented.

I feel we can't have a striker who puts no effort in being a rotational option who is on 30k+ a week. Best move him on, Macheda can do the target man role better I feel.

Id like to hang onto him, he will be a different player in the championship, like Odemwingie he didn't get the opportunity or service last season, I think he could make a vital difference next season in a support role up front.

Give him away. Free The wages. Wont get a look in this season.

Kenwynne jones is garbage the worst and laziest player I've ever seen, he looks so unfit and tired it's unbelievable send him to pontcanna fields for a game

To be honest there's never been much of a mention about him at all coming from Ole and Co recently , whether its him leaving to join another Premier League club or staying as part of the new City line up !

Not for me, I think he has the ability but not the mindset and there's no time for laziness in the squad, that And his likely wages I'd prefer to see him go

Easier said than done if he is under contract. If the team your going to 'give him away' to doesn't match his current wages then he can stay put if he wants to.

I would hope that a clause would have been written into his contract forcing a big cut in wages if we were relegated if so it will either force him to work hard to get in the Premier League or force him to move on. I would rather the latter.

Re: kenwyne jones

but a big cut in wages from his already high 37k a week is still a lot, even if he took a 10k a week paycut, its still too much money for someone like him.

Hes going to be difficult to get rid of really, but if we can i would feel a lot happier about what our wage bill might be. With Bellamy already gone, and Medel and Caulker almost certainly going too.
