Help a computer illiterate please

How do I go about inserting smileys on here and putting pictures up off my phone ( iPhone 5s ) please bear in mind I'm wasted on an iPhone as I would be best suited to an old Nokia brick, me and technology go together like cats and rats ( messy ) thanks in advance for any help from one seriously daft Taff

With the smilies, you have to remember most of the computer with ": :" codes, some like this : ) : D : ( ; )work together when joined like

And with pictures that is much easier with the "choose files" button when replying with a post to go to your camera roll.

Bottom of the screen it says "upload attachment " , click on that then "choose File" , "Add the file" . Press preview then to see how it looks .

With the smiley faces , you just press on them
