I can't see England on current form and with nothing to play for beating a Costa Rica side who have dispatched both Uruguay and Italy. I can also see Italy losing to Uruguay, leaving the two group favourites out. I wonder what odds that would have been?

England i would imagine are desperate to save a bit of face in the last game, and Costa Rica have already qualified for the next round of games so might field a weakened team. so maybe not

Lets face it, Uraguay are shit without suarez, never got more than a goal or 2 in them v any opposition without Suarez.

Costa Rica have beaten both Italy and Uruguay who beat England, why do they "stand no chance against them"? England have no creativity and no defensive midfielder which plays right into the counter attacking Costa Rica's hands.

Playing in a dead rubber game against Costa Rica reserves knowing you cannot go further in the tournament is the ultimate insult so don't be surprised if England flounder again. It is going to be such a demoralising experience for the English I wouldn't be surprised if they put it on the red button.

England are poor and in an earlier game I think Costa Rica would have beaten England easily, I agree England will have a much better chance now that Costa Rica can put out a weaker team and rest a few for the knock out stages.

I still they they can best England it will be interesting, will Woy play some of the younger players from the start ?
