England fans in Sao Paulo attacked with fireworks by Brazilian thugs who have 'arsenal' seized by police

Ten English fans were attacked on Thursday close to the Fifa Fan Fest in Sao Paulo hours before England's second group stage match against Uruguayin the Arena Corinthians Stadium.
A group of youths, many with their faces covered, threw several fireworks in the direction of the English fans.
No one was injured in the incident.
"All of the sudden bottles started flying and fireworks were being thrown in our direction," English fan Mark Edward told local newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo. "I know that the English fans have a very bad reputation, but there was no retaliation. Everyone simply ran."
The nationality of all the arrested was not immediately determined, but most of them were believed to be Brazilians, the police said.
