Sorry but history tells you that not all the teams react well the following season after relegation. I would have thought that's more realistic than negative wouldn't you..?

Ole deserves a chance just like all our managers have, with the players we have and the ones being brought in I can see us at least making play offs, have some optimism ffs all your posts are so negative

if that is the case (which it isn't bearing in mind the amount I have given the club over the years) then I would say that people like you want this forum to be a propaganda tool for the club and everything on here has to be positive. I have said that this is my opinion which lets be honest isn't worth a thing so why do people like you get so worked up..? there have been noteable exceptions adam like newcastle and west brom who came down and romped the league the following season.

This is a healthy approach I think. It will be a struggle for sure, but I hope that we'll see the contours of the new philosophy and some entertaining football. And I really believe a good start of the season is key to revive that positive attitude and mindset going into games. We've all seen what can happen to teams like Wolves getting mentally broken down by a tough PL relegation season and then getting knocked down in the first rounds of championship football.

So players, fans and everybody needs to think positive, support their manager, players and not question this OGS project as soon as a bad run comes along. Continuity is so important, and if there is any point in being promoted, the golden rule is to be good enough for the PL one season ahead. You can't get promoted, then change everything and expect to stay up. So I'd rather see CCFC one extra season in the championship, preparing to get promoted and staying there.

There are many of the older heads who think along the same lines as Nukes and I can see their point. However may I pick you up on your point that saying the club is more likely to be sold as a Prem team. Do you have any evidence of that..? There are more and more non-Premiership teams these days that are being sold simply because its cheaper and the profits of that Promotion are there. You buy a Premiership team then the mark-up just isn't as much if you are outside of the top four.
