How many times did Cahill and Gerrard get in each others way?
The centre backs were too deep, Gerard shouldnt be jumping for that header.

Roy chose the team and left Terry at home. Its decisions like that which make or break. And it broke.

Welbeck shouldn't be starting in a World Cup team, not when you've got Lallana and Barkley on the bench. On form, Rooney shouldn't be starting either, and why the hell Roy has let Sturridge drift so wide for two games in a row now, I've no idea. As I just said on Twitter, after this tournament, Gerrard needs to retire from International football and Rooney needs to be phases out considering he'll be 30 at the next tournament.

Oh, and if England really want to take advantage of this new generation of attacking players they've got, they need a manager who follows that philosophy too, else much like the "golden generation" it will be another group of players wasted.

Should have picked Caulker, Jordon Mutch and Fraizer Campell.

And Craig Noone.

And Andrew Taylor.

And Joe Lewis.

Only got yourself to blame Roy.
