Hope we can sell Medel for a decent price, hope we don't still too early as he is having an amazing World Cup

Re: El Pitbull

His good performance will hopefully push it up to around the 6m mark.

If one good game constitutes having "an amazing world cup" then Peter Crouch must be delighted :laughing6:

2 games played, already qualified for the next round. Just stopped the current world champions from even scoring. He's having a great world cup. Plus he's making you look like a right tit in the process.

Roathy the whopper. :laughing6:

So because chile have played 2 games it means he played excellently in both? :D

He has had one good game so far in this world cup (a game where every single chile player played well), and that one game was probably his only good game in his last 20 matches of football :laughing6:

The epitome of average is our poodle and as i have proven countless times he was one of the worst defensive midfielders out of the 20 starting defensive midfielders over the course of last season

Re: El Pitbull

He's a class player some people are just to stubborn to admit it.

He was brilliant in the prem first half of season had Toure, Felleni etc. I. His pocket was brilliant v the Jacks at home and even all the pundits were saying how good a player he was. Also very good for Chile v England. After Christmas I think we rushed him back from injury to soon that coupled with a lot of traveling to Chile games and he looked burned out ad probably ha an eye on the WC and who could blame him? If he had been surrounded by better players then he would been rated by our fans as one our best ever plAyers but was surrounded by Shite and had to do pretty much all the defensive work by himself constantly having to run back and forth the pitch to cut balls out because the likes of Whitts, Gunner, Mutch, John , KtC etc. we're out of position.

He will go back to Spain no doubt after this WC

I watched him in the majority of his games and posted on here after them- id say 75% of them. For me, that is enough to judge the season.

If you are telling me you have seen a similar % of his games prior to Cardiff then you are quite simply lying, althoug judging from your whopper like contribution so far - it wouldn't surprise me of you tried :laughing6:

Silly boy.

So how much did you see of Medel before Cardiff then?

The guy played for Boca Juniors, Sevilla & about 60 times for his country. There is so much info available, reports and videos etc. I havent watched him throughout his whole career but that doesnt mean jack shit.

Your basing everything on one season. Dismissing everything before it as if it didnt happen. You really are clueless.

Theres not much more to say to you about Medel, ive got my opinion. You've got yours. I dont need you to agree with me for it to be true. Your not important in the slightest. Just some lonely weirdo who lives on a forum.

What? You arent making sense now.

What have i dismissed? I cant recall seeing him play prior to Cardiff although probably did without noticing. Im not saying anything about his previous performances of years gone by, that would be silly considering i didnt watch them. The only person basing their judgements on things they havent seen is YOU :thumbright:

There is no agreeing or disagreeing, the facts speak for themselves. You may be lonely, clueless, weird and daft (by name and nature) but that doesnt give you free reign to be a whopper and start judging things you have never seen while discarding things you have... due to it not fitting in with your agenda

Yes they do. The fact is Medel is a better player than you believe. Theres nothing more to it.

Re: El Pitbull

Thu Jun 19, 2014 10:57 am

Yet that opinion is based on things you have never seen, go figure :thumbright:

His last full top flight season was distinctly average, in fact thats probably being kind. Also the fact he felt Cardiff was the best option for him leads me to think he wasn't consistently pulling up any trees previous either, probably a good game here and there creating the kind of nonsense heard on this board. Also the fact that only average teams want him at what is an average price leads me to think my deduction that he is average is probably correct :thumbright:

Re: El Pitbull

Yeah his one decent game for a different team is proving he had a superb season regardless of being one of the worst performing midfielders in the Premier League. Silly me :laughing6:

Im sure there is a breeding programme on this forum where the likes of Scottccfc, el tel, swansealad, soulofthesea, cardiffdaft and pembroke allen have been created to test how such stupidity has an effect on fellow forumites, they cant possibly be real people :laughing6: .

Comes with the territory mate. Anyone with sensible views will get slated from time to time and the forum is largely made up of idiots.

A prime example is the pundits on telly. When they say something positive about cardiff then they are "spot on" and great to hear these guys saying it and are quoted to back up opinions left right and center. When they say something negative (but correct) then they are suddenly clueless buffoons that shouldn't be allowed on telly :laughing6:

Take it as a compliment. Im still trying to work out how someone has stated "Medel is having an amazing world cup" on the back of 90 minutes against an out of sorts Spain, not sure ill ever get my answer either :laughing6:

Re: El Pitbull

Thu Jun 19, 2014 5:34 pm

I'm going to go down the route of him being a better player when playing with better players. He didn't do too much with us I will admit and perhaps didn't show his true potential. I will agree with a previous posters views though of him not becoming a bad player just on one season. I think there's a lot more to him than what he showed with us and you got to take into account him not enjoying being in a team that wasn't on the same level as him as backed up last night.

On a separate topic however, I thought you said Castignos had signed for Swansea? I'm hearing online that he prefers a move to benfica?
