Could the site introduce a 'notification' system?

Any possibility of the site implementing a notifications system whereas when posters reply then (quoted) they can see it in the notifications at the top of the board?

Or highlighted thread you've posted in or green arrow because if you post alot then sometimes you forget what thread you've posted in. I scroll down the page and find a thread that looks interesting and enter and say I post a comment I rarely take any notice of the thread title so am unaware if any one has responded to my post. I have been responding to you as that was the only thread I've posted in so when looking down it's easy.

Our board when I log in then I'd have 7-8 notifications that people have quoted me so I'm diverted to the threads instead off spending hours looking.

Yes or 'View your posts' but that is something I don't do. Should have a notification section next to your name so if you log in then the notification section says you have 3 notifications.

Moderators are more than welcome to post their opinions or would it be to much hard work to implement such a feature?

It is difficult to implement something using the current software.

I've been looking at and testing alternatives for the past few months, but as it would be a major upgrade, I don't know how soon it might be.

It's a good idea though, and something I want to put in place eventually.

What ambition have you for this message board?

Are you happy for it to stay how it is or do you have plans to make it a cracking message board?

You have ccmb forum which I don't like and never have, even when I was posting on Cardiff forums back in the 90's. Only posted on Rivals.net or not at all.

Look at our board, Northstandchat.com and it's heaving, Bozza the owner oftens donates couple of grand to Brighton Charitys because the site earns money. He has a Amazon logo at the top of the board and asks for people to purchase Amazon stuff through the link which brings in good money to the site and I always buy my stuff whether it's books, garden equipment etc but the site is earning good money which enables him to upgrade the site.

You should consider expanding this site to make it the number one Cardiff forum. Yes, it costs money but look at our site and see how it's grown.
