Malaysian billionaire Vincent Tan may invest 3 billion ringgit (US$933 million) to build a casino complex in the state of Pahang if authorities approve a plan for what would be the country's second casino, the Business Times in Malaysia reported. -

Citing an interview with the tycoon, the paper said Tan aims to apply for a license to operate a casino in Berjaya Hills, a resort area owned by Berjaya Corp, in which he is the largest shareholder with a 23.03 per cent stake.

Malaysia's only existing casino is owned by gaming-to-plantations conglomerate Genting Bhd, which saw 1.4 billion ringgit in revenue come from the casino in the first quarter this year.

My comment was a general musing on how the mods (well some of them) use the niavety and generall dullness of the majority of posters to simply increase hits.

But actually, it's up to individuals to decide whether they are prepared to come on the Forum or not. If, like you, they do, then they are accepting the rules of membership (official or otherwise) and if 'hits' is one of those factors, then so be it. It doesn't hurt anyone and no-one has to pay to participate, so in the words of my old mate DM, "What odds is it to you?"
