It's probably standard practise. His sign on bonus is split over the 3 or 4 years of his contract. Every year he remains with us he gets a share of the bonus agreed and it becomes in effect a 'loyalty' bonus.
There is no one on here who wouldn't do the same thing.
If you say you wouldn't you are a liar.

Neil, Youve lost me ? who is having ago at Caulker?
If your a football player you want to play at the highest level and if clubs are daft enough to throw money at them its not their faults

I blame the owners for being daft enough to give them pathetic amounts of money and massive contracts, they make the final decisions.

Totally agree, Caulker has signed a deal and should be paid in accordance with that.
The blame lies with whoever gave him gang contract be it Malky, moody, Lim, Tan.

By the time the government fleece them for 50% of their wages and they pay all their overheads and agent fee's and any other expenses you cant blame them for wanting to re-coop what they lose through bonuses.
I if was being taxed 100k a month on a 200k salary and then having to pay out in expenses I wouldn't be happy. Granted its a good wage, but those scum in powerdont deserve to take the other half from talented people who deserve their income

Oh come on for gods sake...............my heart bleeds for them..........i dont know how they manage on a few hundred k a month. And having to play football for that as well..........i bet they all wish they were digging drainage ditches for the minimum wage.
Most of their money is held in offshore accounts and funds fella if they got any sense and they dont pay half the tax they should, especially the foreign players.
