Re: Robbie Savage

Sun Jun 15, 2014 8:06 pm

Re: Robbie Savage

Sun Jun 15, 2014 8:08 pm

Still cant believe he had 10+ years in premiership he was like a headless chicken!!

Re: Robbie Savage

Sun Jun 15, 2014 8:08 pm

He played in the prem for like 10 years.

I can understand why people dislike him. Not sure why adrian chiles gets so much hatred thrown at him though.

Savage was right about the Red Card for Pogba, even Henry said it at the end when he could see where Savage was coming from , but couldn't accept it was Red because he is French.
Also Palacios should have had a straight Red for the same offence.

Take off your Blinkers.

Exactly, I don't like Savage's obvious dislike to Cardiff, but as a pundit I can't fault him. He's one of the only pundits who isn't afraid to speak his mind and tell it as it is. By the OP's logic, Mourinho is out of his depth as a manager because he never played professional football, so he should know nothing about the game.

Re: Robbie Savage

Exactly , Savage says it as it is,
I like that about the guy.
But if he says anything anti Cardiff , I dislike him and don't have too always agree.
But that doesn't mean to say he isn't a decent pundit!

So does that include refusing to play in a WALES shirt after a public spat with Toshack about his management style and selections and then going on TV a few years afterwards and criticising a player for a public falling out with his manager ????

WHAT A FOOL AND FU-KING HYPOCRITE HE IS.

Blooobirds Forever !!! :old: :bluescarf:

And why did the manager leave him out ?

Here is a quote from savage

"I said things I should not have said and regret those comments, I guess I have always spoken my mind.

"But the fact is I am one of only four Welsh Premiership players, along with Ryan Giggs, Danny Gabbidon and Simon Davies, playing in one of the toughest leagues in the world.

"So not to be selected for the squad I find bizarre and beyond me. People in any walk of life say things they regret later on and I am man enough to admit that.

"I will be saying the same thing to myself all the way through it, 'how on earth am I not in that team?

Does that not tell you all you need to know about his attitude? Toshack just kept a dignified silence - yes Toshack may have been not the right choice for Wales at that time but he was still the manager. The boss.

Savage is just a big mouth self indulging tit. SORRY !!!

Blooobirds Forever !!! :old: :bluescarf:

What the f**k is Tonteg Whopper on about again? :laughing5:

We are talking about pundits not managing a team of players. Two completely different jobs so what the hell has Mourinhos background got to do with Robbie Savage being a shit pundit??!?

A pundit is there to give EXPERT opinion and there can be no better expertise than first hand experience ie Seedorf and Henry or second to experience is being a student of the game ie Danny Murphy again something Savage clearly lacks.

A good pundit should be articulate, charismatic and knowledgable but if interupting and screaming over others to get your point across is what floats your boat then maybe that idiot Savage is your man.

Give ne the classier Henry and Seedorf any day

As has already been sad hed more suitable to Talk Shite and its clear to me hes more suited to radio than tv.

So by your logic, Mourinho would be a shit pundit as despite arguably currently being the best manager in the world, he doesn't have the expertise of playing at the top level to give an EXPERT opinion. Priceless! :laughing6:

Dear lord hes back with the cheese and fries.

No he would not be a shit pundit because he is a student of the game and has expertise at the top level of football with the best f8otballers in tbe game. He is also articulate, charismatic and knowledgable the 3 qualities I said you need to posess to be a good pundit.

Savage has NONE of these qualities. Henry has them in abundance hence my original post "Savage is out of his depth"

he had stayed loyal to Mark Hughes,,,,,almost everyone in the Welsh camp during Hughes time felt constantly put down and undermined by Toshacks constant TV criticism............Savage was desperate to play for Wales, and did admit he had mad mistakes in what he had said.....imo....no one is bigger than the team, and no manager should carry grudges at the expense of the team either......i think Tosh did.... over all i thought Tosh was the right choice, and still feel he shouldnt have been pushed out.....but could have handled this episode better......
