It sends out all the wrong messages as a club and you just end up buying mercenaries who are there purely for one thing. You want people desperate to play for the club, not just there for the money, definitely the QPR vibe. Something that has been the cornerstone to our success in my honest opinion.
189% of turnover went on wages the last time you were in the championship, looks like it will be up there again. It doesnt seem like lessons are being learned and it is killing your club at almost every level.

Personally I would call him an excellent player for the championship, as Tony Pulis agrees, who obviously knows a shit load more about football than any of us on this forum.

I never assume someone knows more because of what they do, ive never met him to judge.
But back to Dikgacoi - He has been in the championship before - I certainly wouldnt call him excellent.

If only it were that easy I suppose.

So why are you saying it is "huge" if you don't know?
Everything is relative.
They got him on a free, so a long contract means they will get a decent transfer fee.
This seems to me like a very good investment. Clearly a Premier League class player, for no fee.
Even with signing on bonus and agents fees, this is no doubt a good deal.

Because it is suggested he has been given a massive contract.![]()
What do you mean decent transfer fee? Hes 31 next year. He didnt light up the championship or premiership so no idea why you think he is clearly premier league class. Doesnt look like he has Prem clubs clamouring over him, apart from Palace who obviously werent willing to match cardiffs wage offer.
If you think thats good business then fine. However id suggest contributing to negative equity is anything but.
