Some good points in a sensible post and some of the people having a go at Caulker, MM, IM and Lim would, in my opinion, do well to read and understand what you,ve posted here.
I wonder if a "Release Clause" in a contract is actually a form of transfer request because if it is like you correctly point out then when, not if, Caulker leaves the club does actually "Save" money by not having to pay the bonus for the remaining term of his contract.
