Don't hear the football pundits pushing his name forward for jobs either, I wonder why? It's funny how the football world look after each other but it seems that's not the case with Milky, I wonder why? As one influential poster would say, hmmmmmmmm :laughing6:

People are saying tan cost us the season he did by not sacking malky and Moody at the same time and these pundits and some of our fans are to blame by kicking up a fuss

One minute these same people say can we move on from Malky and the next they continue to post laughable topics, I honestly cant understand some of the ones hatred for one of City's ex managers who achieved more than nearly any other City manager in our history.

Also they then praise Vincent Tan :o :o

I was only discussing yesterday in town with a City fan, who said " Do some of these actually go to the matches and or are they just on a wind up? " It does make you think Hmm

The thing is Annis, a lot of us was having the exact same feeling when some of our fans were singing that awful malky song.
We were thinking when the hell are this lot gonna drop it.

I think a lot of it is Cardiff spent more than any of the other two promoted teams and came bottom while they both survived. That means the money to survive the Prem was there for Cardiff yet it was squandered on indefensible signings and dealings.

Campbell's tiny release clause.
Wasted time on Tom Ince.
Brayford.
Cornelius.
Wanyama.
Capoue.
Buying Odemwingie only to use him wrong.
Over paying for Medel and Caulker.

That's before you look at how negatively he played in the Prem which disenfranchised many (Crystal Palace away).

Malky us not the only reason we went down, OGS was really naive in how poor the team was, how the Malky/Tan/Moody affair had demoralised the team. Thought Zaha was a good player, thought Kenwyn Jones was a real football player. But the fact remains the money was there in the summer to easily place Cardiff in the top 13/14 places

Correct.

It's easy to slag Malky off for big wages paid etc but in a business the owner should know what it's managers/ executives are offering to prospective employees.

Malky was the one who got us to the premier league and I will be forever grateful to him. I'm not sure what would have happened had he stayed the season but I think we may not have survived but would have been closer to safety.

Gareth, with you mostly on that :thumbright: but lets be honest you could do No worse than what happened to our team, humiliated by West Ham,Swansea,Hull,Palace,Newcastle,Sunderland etc etc and all were poor teams at the time of playing them, we made them all look like world beaters, terrible, terrible results and the manor of the way the team just gave up everytime, Shocking and all facts.

Re: All you Malky lovers smelling the coffee yet???

Sun Jun 15, 2014 10:26 am

Only mistake is Acorn? Because Ole had terrible results Malky's actions are justifiable? Honestly it's madness.

Malky is not Jesus, he was a decent manager who is responsible for some truly great moments at this club, but he was found out at the top level (like Ole). The man advocated for the rebrand and you lot act like he was against it :laughing6:

I said some of his actions are indefensible, the response? To not defend them. Speaks volumes.

Re: All you Malky lovers smelling the coffee yet???

I still believe Malky would've kept us up. Yes, by playing anti-football, parking the bus, etc .. but we would've had enough to consolidate this summer and would've had the time to make whatever knee-jerk changes during the off season.

OGS came in at the wrong time with the wrong team to play his 'Kevin Keegan' style of football and signed the wrong people to influence the change required.

I blame Tan and his megalomanial dictatorship for where we are and nothing is going to change my view.

Because it's been rammed down our throats enough times that 'Ole is a tinkerman, that Ole is tactically inept, Ole is out of his depth' where the fans would go Malky would have kept us up, Malky is a better manager, heck even at West Ham home people called for Malky back, it shows a sign of weakness to want a man gone in his first league game and it was pathetic.

Sugar coat it all you like, 75% of Malky's success was down to the funds of Vincent Tan

If your going to keep making threads of every time Malky is linked with a job then expect to get threads every time he doesn't get it, works both ways.

Can people seriously stop posting about Malky all the god damn time, he fucked up we know, he wasted a shed load of money on shit we know, he offered stupid contracts we know, he should have been sacked earlier we know shut the f**k up about him already you sound like broken records

One mistake was Acorn, lets remember a guy who financially played a part in screwing us over and milked us dry.

Re: All you Malky lovers smelling the coffee yet???

Thu Jun 19, 2014 9:43 pm

Only mistake is Acorn , oh come on. Will we make a profit on any of his summer signings? Will we lose a shed load?

Caulker was about the best and even then we paid value and now hearing about 11 month "loyalty bonus'" of a million which means again we will make a loss.

Add to that a RB he had no interest in playing and let rot in the reserves, another RB who just wasnt good enough. A defensive midfielder we will be lucky to get half our money back if he continues to have a decent world cup.

All this without strengthening the one area that had needed strengthening for the past 2 years.

Malky was a good budget championship manager but no more, it amazes me how some will defend him at all costs and it has to be to have a go at Tan, I cant think of another reason that he can continued to be defending.

It used to be his average points would have kept us up, that was proved untrue in the end. Celtic and Norwich jobs passed us by which you would think he would have been nailed on for, the pathetic apology he had to give as well. He has become a joke.
