.....why should we believe the competition itself and the awarding of the trophy itself isn't fixed?

Surely the whole integrity of the competition itself is at stake considering the whole situation of FIFA is as it is. It looks even worse given the 'dubious' decision in the Brazil vs Croatia game last night.

The game has become far too politicised and money centric - its a disgrace.

I see where you are all coming from, but you can't say any World Cup winners have won due to the matches being fixed. Look at the last 5 winners all deservedly won. I agree that FIFA is corrupt but the football itself is not.
