Pace and power

Thu Jun 12, 2014 3:28 pm

To me it looks like Ole is setting a team up with a lot of pace and power. Last year I would say we had a small, weak team that got bullied about, can't see it happening next season with the signings so far, dikgacoi, burgstaller, Macheda, guerra all look strong guys with pace, looking gd ole keep it up :thumbright: :ole:

Something tells me that burgstaller will be vital, even no one can get bullied in the championship

The Austrian will let us have a direct winger like Madrid, Mutch is strong, daehli is surprisingly strong.

Couldn't be more excited going forward but lets see if this still leaves us with enough steel so we don't get dicked by millwall.

Still think we need another DM though. Even though KD can play as a DM, he was much better playing for Palace when he had Jedinak playing the DM role. It allowed KD to win the ball higher up the pitch and he was brilliant for Palace last year. The main reason being was because he had Jedinak alongside him too and the two of them together were hard to break down at times last season, especially at home. If we play Whittingham alongside KD then we will get overun in midfield like last season. If we could get him to sign for us then i would sign Adam Clayton from Huddersfield and pair him in the middle of midfield with KD and let the rest of our wingers and strikers worry about attacking. But, i think KD is a terrific signing for us. Welcome to the World of Cardiff City, that most of the time is like an episode of your favourite TV Soap.
