Wez, I was just going to say, yes great to see signings getting wrapped up and squad will all be ready for pre-season training :thumbright: :thumbright:
Then yet again u and others bring their names in to it, yet one minute you and the same ones say lets move on, lets support Ole, why talk about the past management. Hmm

My opinion is I wish ole had the same budget cause we would smash the league and stay up next season ,I think the club are going to have a right go at it this season

Ye, his track record as our manager is superb. :bluescarf:

Hand him that 30 million, the last 5 months of the season were excellent :D

Wez,All I will say is that, we achieved everything that was asked of Malky in the Championship and that is a fact and everyone was happy and now Ole is being fully backed for next season, so it should be an exciting season to look forward to once again :thumbright: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Malky turned us into pulis' stoke mark 2

Once noone was injured we didn't have any balance to keep the attack up and got screwed on the counter everytime.

I do think ole should balance things out by getting a defensive advisor like wenger, hopefully this new player can do that job for us so that we're not the one dimensional brick team that Malky turned us into.

Ole wants to play a certain way it would seem so getting them in early is vital.

Annis, whilst I see your point, at the same time you're someone who talks about protecting our history and such from the rebrand, yet at the same time have a go at anyone who brings up the previous manager. Same for a lot of people around here. So which is it, are we trying to protect our history so that we can talk about it for years to come, or are we just only considering the current managers time in charge to be the be all and end all of Cardiff City's history?

To the point in hand, loving the early business. I'm expecting a seriously big amount of signings, more so than anyone anticipated I think. I suspect Ole has decided it's going to be easier to get his football philosophy across to a group of new players, than trying to get Malky's lot playing his way. With a few exceptions, I pretty much agree too.

I'm just saying the same people who one minute tell me to move on or stop talking about the past or the managers etc then do exact the same

Personally we should all feel free to talk about what we want :thumbright:

In his championship winning season Malky seemed to do business at a decent rate, same in Jan too no one was making a fuss. Only when it got to the Prem did he fail to deliver.

Ole has, from the looks if it bought well immediately addressed the weaker of the two aspects of our side (not that the other was much stronger) judging by who is likely to go we're just under 2months away and were two - three players max away from what we need. Very astute.

Why talk about past management? Probably because they wasted an awful lot of money by paying well over the odds for players and totally mismanaged the generous budget they were given and as a result of their bad judgement and poor decisions we got relegated. I was a big supporter of Malky but as more time has passed it has become clear that he wasted a golden opportunity to establish this Club in the Premier league. Hull and Palace did it with a lot less money. We can all get behind Ole but it doesn't stop people airing their feelings on what went wrong last season. It's still pretty raw and very fresh in the mind. :bluescarf:

This is great news (Ole buying early) and I stated last season that I was worried that the club (not necessarily Malky) left lot of signings to the last minute considering we were the first team to be promoted. the players we than got (Caulker apart) were then overpriced and not really our first choices

Brayford appears to have been in that category, although personally I believe he could be a big hit for us in The Championship next season ;)

I don't know how well Ole's team will do, but so far I can't fault the effort he is putting in or direction he is taking

There is no doubt we achieved everything that was asked of malky in the championship, that's why we got promoted, but he was given about £12 million to do it whereas so far since the season finished, ole has only spent about £2 million, more money will be needed to bring in a better quality player and i'm sure that will be the case.

You think we've just signed Dikgacoi on reasonable wages despite us offering double what Palace offered?

did we offer him double? or is that just a rumour?

I would be upset if we are paying him anymore than 15k a week really.

surely the comment was more about what our new manager could do with that kind of money and not a slate on the previous managment team?

thats just how i read in to it though

He was using another managers team and in a league where that team was way out of its depth. If you feel you can do better let yourself be known to Mr Tan and do a better job. I highly doubt you can so in that case STFU let the manager get on with things and let us support our club through thick and thin as we have for years - some for decades.
