What's some of your fav flicks and why do they appeal to you?
I have lots and I mean lots.
But to start off with I will say Kill Bill Vol 1.
It contains several elements of things I like.
Kung Fu, Anime, Original Story and a superb cast.
Tarantino is a superb director and storyteller.
Dogs, Fiction,Django and basterds as well as Jackie Brown are all excellent.
Interesting Fact: Vincent Vega was originally written for the Actor Michael Madsen.
Tarantino has stated that he wrote it with Michael in mind on the back of Dogs.
MM however turned the role down due to a role on Wyatt Earp.
Miramax were against the Decision to cast John Travolta who's previous flick was .....
Look who's Talking 3.

Donnie Yen.
Fastest hands I've ever seen.
Would love to see him and Tony Jaa go a few rounds.
Second ipMan was a let down for me if I'm honest.
The baddie was a major let down.
But that fight scene between Yen and Sammo Hung

The Godfather 1 + 2
Ryan's Daughter
The Quiet Man
Zulu
The above have good casts and gripping stories.
Moonstruck
Keeping Mum
Grand Slam
The Bishop's Wife
The above have good casts and are brilliant comedies.
The Charge Of The Light Brigade with Errol Flynn - not the most factually historic but I like Flynn as an actor. The film gives me a lump in my throat as it is about 670 lancers attacking the Russians in the Crimea in the head of a valley. There are 5420 cavalry at the end of the valley, plus 50 cannon and 20 battalions of infantry on both sides and in front, so that when they pass the first line of cannon, they are attacked from all 4 sides. The 1st Viscount Tredegar was a Captain in the charge and his statue on his horse is on the City Hall lawn.

Big FIsh (Tim Burton) - Simply the greatest story ever told! (almost)
