viewtopic.php?f=2&t=142649 I have just been reading threads on here about Simon Lim`s departure and the appointment of Ken Choo as a general manager rather than as a direct replacement.
Comments have been made about Ken Choo having an excellent CV , but surely we need to wait and see exactly what his role is to be and what he is allowed to do in that role.
As for his CV , it is actually quite similar to Simon Lim`s when he joined the club. They are both qualified accountants whose background is a general accountancy role in the hotels part of Vincent Tan`s business empire. Neither had any apparent knowledge of football in arriving at CCFC.
My initial reaction is that the club is just replacing one Vincent Tan "yes man" with another and that no more relevant football business skills have been added to the senior management team , which is very disappointing. I would be delighted if this proves not to be the case as Ken Choo settles in to his new role.
