Thinking back now till those times.
Always were poor in the friendlies before, if memory served me right even Steve Bull scored in one against Tunisia before Italia'90.
Then before Italia'90 you had a youngster called Paul Gascogine who took the world by storm and that man could well be Ross Barkley.
The mannerism between Hodgson and Robson are very similar and forgive me if these similarities seem weak but something tells me that England will go far this time around.

If they beat Italy confidence and momentum will be at its best and I can see a quarter final at least.
if they finish 2nd they will get stuffed by someone like Germany argentina spain or Brazil in the second round

Why do you hate England? Do you hate us playing in the English divisions as well?

It's rivalry!

Do you hate Swansea? If so, would you hate a Swansea boy playing for Cardiff? Did you hate Andy Legg playing for us?
Don't take it so seriously. You can hate a football team for rivalry without actually hating the place.

Of course but they are not comparable. I have never understood the "rivalry" between Wales and England and no-one who claims to hate England so much never explains why they do. I don't know how you can have a rivalry with someone without a reason for it.

They are totally comparable.

they are rivals for the same reason! Neighbours/local rivals!
Why do you hate Swansea then? Can you explain that one?

I dislike Swansea because of the competitiveness between the sides when I grew up. I felt the hatred when inside the stadium and it was for who was the best side in South Wales. Same with Bristol. Being close to them is a factor, of course but it isn't the sole reason why I'd hate another club or country.
Until Wales are competitive with England on an international football front I will never understand it.

Barkley will be key, if Sturridge gets clinical in the games in the WC, all could be positive for England.

The english supporters had better behave in Brazil especially in Manaus

England will play either Ivory Coast, Colombia, Japan or Greece in 2nd round if they get there as they are Group C to England's Group D. Spain or Brazil are the QF if England get that far,

thats a big thing for england is the draw. Its basically 2 from 3 in their group, with the teams who qualify likely to be favorites in the second round.

Llandaff:where in my post is the word hate?? I just cannot support a nation who 1: I have no connectiin to(not including us playing in their system!) 2: they most definately would not support us: I have many English friends who have openly admitted they will only ever back England.3:In my personal opinion,we are only ever classed as "british"either when one of our athletes or any other sportsman does exeptionaly well,or during a war or conflict.4:we are not even represented on the union flag!! So why on earth I am expected to support them baffles me.and finally5;I think they are shit!! Never found yourself singing the "oh engerland,is full of shit" song at games?? As chuckles has pointed out,its a rivalry, that goes back eons! I hope that clarifies my post for you? If not,ah well.
