England should start barkley or wilshire if not both

Sat Jun 07, 2014 10:51 pm

just my neutral view im going to be watching most games,
does anyone else think that young aggressive attacking football is their only hope of going far?

soft gerrard long ball passing and full back floats into the box are going to be about as effective as messi in goals.

the top teams know how predictable England are they need to set out the less known players such as stirling, sturridge barkley wilshire and attack, hard and fast it will throw them off guard

Wilshire is overrated and shouldn't be near the first team. It's also both sad and hilarious that England's best player is 20 years old Ross Barkley. They really need to shape up if they think they are going to go far in this tournament

Barkley is a fresh air, all depends if Roy thinks he is too positive and forward minded because he doesn't really give the game time he deserves.

Sturridge and Lallana were both good, Sturridge let down by some poor finishing tonight though.

Media and a proportion of supporters are the arrogant ones.

Feel sorry for the players in a way. Okay the could do better but their not exactly filled with World Class players.

We must have been watching different matches - Lallana was atrocious. Neat touches but does nothing more. He certainly won't be the answer for England, no pace and no creativity.

I'm looking forward to another year of disappointment for the English. :happy1:

I feel the same Lallana has one of the best touches in the starting line up, but he was not clinical .

Barkley will take his chance if given the opportunity like Gazza in Italia'90

I thought the same they are gonna take a pasting with braindead hodgson living in the past

I believe this to be their best line up. I'd include both players both Rooney should be operating higher up the pitch just behind sturridge

Hart
Baines
Cahill
Jagielka
Johnson

Gerrard

Barkley
Lallana/wilshire
Milner/Stirling

Rooney

Sturride

The same Gerrard who has been instrumental in dictating the play for Liverpool this season and they have been the most attack minded side in the country
Besides you cant go hell for leather in that heat youll be fucked.

Last night was a farce and the way Honduras approached tbe game Engkand were just happy to get through unscathed.

Not in the same league as Gazza. He was one off.
