New Game of Thrones book.

Seemingly lots of fans on here. Anyone have any information on next book? Looked on net not a lot going there.

By all accounts and having read all the books im making an educated guess that after season 5 the TV show will be caught up, Id expect a new book to be released pretty soon after.

Rumour has it that George RR Martin will be writing 8 books instead of 7 that was planned.

It's believed from his editor that we're getting close.. so probably some time in 2015.

winds of time i think its called was supposed to be out last yr, still hasnt got a date the fat tw*t needs to get going and stay off the mr kiplins! he wont commit to a date in 2015 either, got us all by the bollucks!

It was his editor that was talking about it but it was more tongue in cheek than anything.

She also said as of last year he had only submitted 168 pages of the new book just so he can get paid so not sure how hopeful it is of being completed soon. But they are just about to release a history book of his world and apparently after that he won't have any other side projects so will be focusing on the books. I personally can't see him finishing it before the TV shows catch up

Lots of rumours about a certain "winter" characters fate after the ending of the last book..
Some think possible White Walker Return or Survival, either way With Martin you can always expect a good twist.

As for the book itself other rumours suggest it's been finished a while now but the release has been delayed for promotional purposes (show related).

What we do know is GRR Martin want to finish with a Movie.

Is this the book where the grand wizard of ogden fights with the soup dragon and takes hold of the baron lands of zog in an atempt to marry the ice queen in order to gain control of all the ladbrookes betting offices thus stopping bedfred getting into the world of anklesocks while riding a penny farthing.
