One of the best thing Tan did, got people's backs up and the "fight" started.

Weirdly malky sacking which was more than justified by tan finally woke people up more.

I've been hearing the bright idea was a lot more closer to home

From what I understand, it wasn't Tan, but someone on the staff who wanted to push through the rebrand...

Could be rubbish, could be true.. Just what I heard.

Whoever it was, well done to them. Made many people realise how wrong this rebrand has been. :D

What is they were convincing him it was a good thing (the rebrand generally) and was doing this just to cause trouble? I heard Malky was severely unimpressed with this person too

This is great news...... Not the bollocks actual story but the fact Tans PR media consultants are managing to leak "the real truth" allowing Tan a dignified "It wasn't me guv" face saving change of mind....

Sorry time to play along, "that bellend Issacs !"

i think it was Tans........there was red about the ground prior to that game, but not lots.......and no real opposition to it,so it seemed..... pretty obvious thing to do looking at how things were, help the ground turn red with a gesture of good will........it was much too soon......

If people remember that night it was supposed to be BLUE TUESDAY vs Brighton if I'm correct which was advertised for two weeks online and in the media but that got scrubbered 24hours before the game with the old red scarf give away to counter act the whole blue night thing. I rememebr it as I walked in and seen a stadium of red and couldn't believe it

Definitely tans idea and people in the club who should have known better dident speak out for fear of their jobs. And to be fair why should they put their jobs and family's at risk over a poxy red scarf.
People had the option to take a scarf or ignore it. My wife and I declined politely whereas several thousand including a lot of the people who hold scarfs up at 19.27 took them.
I suppose the chance to have a freebie was to much for the majority of our fans to resist so we made our own bed there as far as I am concerned

Why not just say? You whoppers criticise Annis and Carl for not giving full info and say its stirring. You're doing exactly the same. Either name the person in question or stfu you drama seeking jebend.

Makes themselves feel superior and a part of the inner circle. It also gives them a short amount of time in the limelight gaining attention. If they weren't attention seeking they would just say what they heard despite it being Tans idea...
