I was saying in work today to and English guy I really think with a manager in charge we would have a chance of qualifying for a major tournament.

Get behind him. He's not going anywhere until after the qualifiers are over so we may as well all get behind the team and stop complaining. We might get somewhere then

I dont think people chatting on a message board will stop us qualifying, coleman however might.

Nice to see we have a respectable captain tonight though

It's at games as well though. When I was at the Macedonia and Finland games people were chanting for Coleman out.
Playing really well tonight without the spine of our team in Williams, Rambo, Bale and Vokes. With those players playing regularly I think we'll have too much for Bosnia and Israel so 2nd place is well up for grabs

Coleman could get to the World Cup final against Brazil and lose - some would still find a way to have a go at him.

We are playing a full strength Holland team away without the spine of our already thin side and losing by a solitary goal at half time :laughing6:

I'm judging him on the next campaign, doesn't mean he's not boring with rubber lips

Hodges also makes me want to go to sleep.

What has everyone got against Coleman? I know he took that captaincy away from Ramsey and hes a Swan but should that matter for the national team? He wants to play a style of football that we need. With a squad like ours we don't want the opposition to have a lot ball and by having more possession players like Bale and Ramsey get more chances to run and create something with the ball.

Also who else would do a better job, there's no one out there.....

Personally my problem with him was his shite tactics & selections in the last campaign, but I will giv him another crack at it before I judge.

Exactly. Not easy to see if Holland are the real deal but we've gave apothem a real go with a vastly weakened side. Very optimistic for the qualifiers. Just need people to start turning up now, the bigger stadium won't help the atmosphere

Eh :? We used to fill the millenium no problem when we were doing well, the CCS will be packed to the rafters after a few wins, you know how fickle welsh fans are.

Correct. If he was from Cardiff he wouldn't get half the abuse he gets on this board and at the CCS.

I know that but I can't remember the last time we've had a massive crowd except for he England game. If we're looking like qualifying by the time we play Belgium at home I've no doubt we'll get 30,000. Just seems like there's not much support there at the moment

I think with bales stature since moving to Madrid, a lot more youngsters will be turning up to see him.
