A Tan/Fans compromise with

Giving us our badge back with blue shorts
keep his Red shirt for now ? , would be a start

otherwise he`s wasting the clubs money on Red merchandise.

the best compromise would be blue home and red away (with the badge on banner of the forum)ironically he would actually sell more red shirts this way aswell as people would buy it as an away shirt

Maybe a blue dragon?

Re: A Tan/Fans compromise with

A good compromise would be blue shirts at home with a decent badge and any colour shirts you want as an away kit, but blue away as well if it is not a clash of colour.

I'm not really for a compromise but your idea has merit, with a red dragon replacing the "red bulls and yellow spot".

As long as its mainly blue with our badge and bluebirds, I could live with a red dragon.

No thanks. The blue is far more important than the badge.

I'm not disagreeing with you but I think nowadays where a lot of the teams kits are almost identical with the same supplier the only way of telling them apart is the badge and sponsor. Each to their own but it's got to be both but the badge is equally important.

There could never be a compromise now...

Tan has cut deep Into the body of Cardiff City and the knife he has used has left many a fan wounded.
He could restore the colours and crest, whilst turning all debt to equity and admitting it on national TV that he was wrong and he was sorry..

It wouldn't matter to some/many.

He has lots the trust of the fans, that's damaging to him, though he would never admit to it.

If he was to do all of that, those who still banged on about wanting him out are not supporters of the club in my eyes. They'd have got EVERYTHING they wanted whilst still having an owner who has taken the club forward in many other ways.

However he has yet to do any of it so it really is a moot point and I understand the frustration felt.

Well there was not going to be one if he had not stepped in in the first place was there? It is a real fear if Tan bails and liquidates us.

Why all this chat about a compromise?

Do you seriously believe that Vincent Tan is going to succumb?

Absolutely.. But we aren't on about then, we are on about now. :thumbright:

Why would Tan liquidate the club? He would lose everything then. So, why are people assuming that CCFC cannot exist without Tan?!

Oh yeah I forgot some people forget the reality of the football world. There are wages of players, staff, bills that need paying, suppliers, tax - the list goes on. Of course there are a few people that think all this will magically be covered without Tan

It would be if the club became self sufficient, instead of relying on big sugar daddies who always leave the club in the shit.... It's nothing to do with magic. :laughing6:

Even if you are wanting a sugar daddy, why does it have to be Tan? There's no reasoning to say with any certainly that if VT left, the club would fold. It's nonsense.

Mr Tan has publicly stated that if we get back to the PL next season he will discuss a compromise on the kit which shows he's willing to move on this. Why not take that at face value and go from there?
Kits are all ordered for next season so he couldn't do it now even if he wanted to.
