' Letter campaign to Tan / CCS for Blue? '

Posted this on the other board, but Just wondering what people would think about organising a letter writing campaign, direct to vincent tan via the CCS abiut the return to blue.




To be honest, any "come late" / stay away from games will not appeal to me as i bought a season ticket - TO WATCH THE GAMES.

However, in the USA fans lobbied TV networks to keep shows like Star Trek on the air - a group of hardcore fans if ever there was one! - what they said was write a letter to the network to show support for the show. CBS at the time recieved THOUSANDS of letters per day and relented.

If the Trust / Echo / CCSC / CCMB messgaeboard / this board all agreed on the content of an open letter to Tan about blue, fans could download it, (photcopy it) sign it and post it directly to the CCS.

They could do it once, or more than once, and even pen thier own on top of it (keeping it clean and respectable of course)and just bombard the CCS with mail until he sees the light.

Its legal, its effecitve, it will REALLY make a point to those at the stadium if they kept recieveing hundreds of letters a day - and it has proven to work in other industries. It also VERY CHEAP to do! 1 1st or 2nd class stamp.

Thoughts?

It's worth doing as part of the larger campaign but needs all the fan groups on board

Stop talking sense online fella. You know its not allowed. One day the truth will all come out as the financial bubble will burst either sooner or later. Not putting a single penny more into the club whilst Tan is there. He's done nothing more than help destroy this club.

I do believe everything we do needs to be done in the ground. And the biggest one we could ever do is keep his brand new red stand empty. A visual one which he would see for the whole 90 mins but hey City fans not savvy enough for that.

It's a fair question, but don't expect an early answer...they don't really have one that can be backed up!

I don't call people sell outs personally but I think the people who do throw the term around consider "Sell outs" to be fans that dont want to fight for our identity and like to back Tan at any given opportunity.

Regarding the OP I think it's a good idea, something I definitely support.

sorry..i hadnt read the post you had replied to...........the pro reds on here?..................i think a pro red in his eyes is anyone that doesnt want to evict Tan.............i havent met a pro red in the two years we have been red..........i know people who have taken the scarf { and would love to see pics of the canton and ninian stands that night } , people who have bought red merch.......but not one that is pro red..........but having an enemy bigs up the robin hood like feelings they have about themselves i suppose......

I think it does mean things to tan he is already wobbling as he has publicly said he would compromise so anything like the op suggests is good.

COMPROMISE i suggest you look the word up the mans putting in red seats wakey wakey, he has been saying he will communicate with fans & groups ect for two years but send his minions to answer questions they can not answer to start with, just read the minutes from meetings you get " Thats something tan will have to answer or i dont know " answers
