Ole on the radio

Got it of MM with Thanks

He outlined how he wanted to embed his footballing philosophy next year, and that he wanted the team to start gelling first and foremost.

He added it was important that everyone worked together, and that everyone bought into his and the owners vision for the club.

He also said how important it was to be smart in the transfer market - and that if he is going to take risks they won't cost millions.wonder what he meant :laughing6:

He also said he was looking at an international centre back and a full back from a Premier League team.

Another full back!! Bloody hell how many do we really need? Do we really need another centre back? In fact, we need to cut back financially. I think our shopping is done.

Let Ktc and Taylor go, and yes. We need another fullback

If that is the case then there is likely to be one of Hudson, Turner or Connolly leaving.
Personally i think those 4 are good enough to have us challenging at the top, but if he can get better players then that's good news. I wonder if it is the lad from Wigan we were chasing before the window. Ivan Ramis ?

I'd expect a couple of full backs to go as well as we've got plenty, but very little quality.

I just hope he doesn't go for all skill and flair, and keeps a balance. You've got to win the ball before you can use it.

Of course we do. Apart from Brayford (who may or may not stay) and Fabio our full backs really are dreadful.

Caulker is probably on his way out leaving us with only Hudson, Connolly, Cala and Turner.

Cala - Good passer and is our best defender. Whether he'll stay is another question.

Hudson - Injury prone

Connolly - Average

Turner - Woeful distribution but solid at this level.

So we only have two good centre backs when in reality you need at least 3/4.

We still need another 4 signings, no way can we start next season without another winger, FB, CB and a destroyer in midfield.

Be nice to see a tidy cb, cala Turner hudson and one more, connely could make way for improvement. Would love to see ktc replaced he cost us alot of goals and can't pick a cross out to save his life, poor signing

Hangeland is over the top, was really good, feel he almost was overlooked by bigger clubs at his prime. Think Ole will look for someone younger, to build on.

yeah, I thought the original post meant "an international centre back" and also "a full back from a premier league club". Not that they were from the same club.

They haven't been around for a while.. The majority of MMs signings were total surprises & the same can be said for OGS, Which is good news, as far as I'm concerned.
