Easy to say when you're disappearing over the horizon and not staying on to help them back up. Another rat deserting a sinking ship

i think he did well to write that, at least he didnt just piss off without a word for the fans.

I think he goes a bit over the top but fair play for him giving the fans the respect to explain why he's going. I mean, remember, this is a guy who not only isn't from Portsmouth but isn't even from Britain so to show that much consideration for fans clearly shows he has some strong feelings to the club. Love them? A bit strong for my liking. Maybe he should have just said 'I've become really attached to this club and hold the club with the highest respect and the people here but I have to think of what's best for my family' etc. If I wrote the letter...

I like Avram Grant though. Can't believe Chelsea sacked him and hope he does well at West Ham. He's an honest man who doesn't shy away. I don't blame him for leaving Portsmouth. I mean, would you stay at a club that can't guarantee to pay you and work at a place where you're constantly paranoid thinking that all the board are thinking of ways to make you the fall guy? No thanks.

Saying that, why's he now gone to West Ham then? :p
