signs for the gypos, marshall must be gone now

Re: fabianski

Thu May 29, 2014 7:54 am

Fabianski was always going, I would think Marshall will go but other keeps about. I would be surpirsed to see Arsenal spend big on a back up keeper.

Re: fabianski

Thu May 29, 2014 7:55 am

Fabianski hasnt left Arsenal to be a number 2 at Swansea. More likely Vorm will go

Re: fabianski

Thu May 29, 2014 7:59 am

Vorm is off to Liverpool is the rumour. Good riddance, gone backwards.

Fabianksi is an upgrade no doubt.

Turned down 50k a week offer from Arsenal to sign for us - top attitude.

Re: fabianski

Thu May 29, 2014 8:06 am

Obviously not up for the fight for the No.1 jersey at Arsenal. Not sure that is a good attitude.

Definitely means Vorm is on his way.

If he is on his way to Liverpool then it means the scousers rate him more than Fabianski as they could have got him.

Im sure he has spoken to Arsene who told him he is back up, so he moved for less money. Thats a top attitude.

Liverpool signed borini when they could have got bony too :D

Vorm has been terrible for a long time.

Good goalkeeper tbf, I don't think Arsene will pay £10 million though Spurs might be stupid enough to do so.

Will get a large signing on fee. If he gets 1 million that's the equivalent of 5k a week.

Re: fabianski

Thu May 29, 2014 12:07 pm

Thats more like a transfer fee really. A lump payment that instead of going to Arsenal goes to him, just a severely cut price one.

That's the joys of the Bosman system.

He's an ok keeper nothing special in fact out of the starting keepers in the prem hell we probably be in the bottom 5 next season.

mystified how this guy managed to get any sort of pro contract.......his very limited career is littered with you tube blunders,
my nightmare was he would be a make weight in a move for Marshall...........

Re: fabianski

A very good goalkeeper who Wenger couldn't decide to choose between him and Szczęsny hence Fabianski playing every cup match and also the FA Cup Final. On that evidence we've signed one hell of a keeper who will be a success down here.

78 appearances for Arsenal and on average concedes 1 goal per game and has 23 clean sheets.

Turned down a 50k contract at arsenal and a host of top Premier League and European teams.

But of course soulofthesea thinks he shouldnt even be a pro :laughing6:

Re: fabianski

Good signing for Swansea, Arsenal might fancy a look at the likes of Casillas first before Marshall if the price is the amount reported.

you can remind me as the season goes along......................so Monk knows nothing about keepers........Copenhagen have a striker you can have ...lol

Re: fabianski

I can remind you now, he hasnt turned pro this season. He already has a record in international and premier league teams to look back over. That suggests you are being a tad silly. Shock horror :laughing6:

The main thing is that he is a good player regardless of my happiness. There is no bubble to burst but you are free to do it on whatever forum you wish, it is neither rude nor ignorant. The opinion is just a bit silly. Get that? :laughing6:

I think the fact he played 32 times in 7 years in comparison to Szczesny's 119 in 5 years is evident which keeper Wenger thought was his number one. Having a cup keeper isn't a new thing.

Szczesny was always his number 1 but we've got a very good stopper who was pushing him all the way. We'll settle for that.

Think they are both pretty average TBH most of the other clubs in te prem have better keepers than either of them.

Never rated him honestly and didn't think he was very good in the Cup final.
