will protest die down if we are winning the league?

Wed May 28, 2014 5:18 pm

It happened before tan spent the money and we where winning the league and there wasn't many protest or to many people moaning..

If we storm the championship and are on the way to promotion can you see that happening again??

Or do you think people will stick with the protest and keep fighting for our identity like they stated to when people knew we where getting relegated?

There was no real protest to begin with in our first season in red.

I really hope that the protests don't die down though. I don't think they will. :bluescarf:

Deffo can't see the 19:27 thing dying down, looks too good!

The issue is about colour and where we are positioned in the league is irrelevant,

Re: will protest die down if we are winning the league?

19:27 protest will continue going but there will be nothing to protest about if we're fighting for promotion, things on the pitch will be breezy and no one will care about off the field antics

It just happens that it really took off when we were losing every week.

People I've spoken to are sick of the blue / red argument and just want to concentrate on watching CC

Exactly. Its the mb's that keeps this going. Mainly the youngsters in the Canton.

Tey'll settle down again once we are back winning each week.

I won't be happy until we're back in our rightfull colour. I weren't happy winning the league in red!

Mate if you think that it's just MB's and youngsters, then you are barking mad.

Fans of both genders and all ages are completely on side for the return to blue.

I just don't understand it, whats your problem with Cardiff City fans wanting their club to play in our traditional colours ? We shouldn't be playing in red, it has nothing to do with our traditions or heritage, what's the problem with fans coming together and campaigning for our true identity? We ALL still together support the team once they're out on the pitch, check the opinions of other fans last season, we were rated as some of the best fans to visit their stadiums.

The 19:27 has been successful, there are a group looking to put together an alternative home shirt for fans to buy, things are on the up. First game of the new season will be colourful home or away. :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Barry, I admire you for sticking to your guns. However, not everyone is as "focussed" as you.

It's a game of football, most want to see the City win. It starts and ends there.

We need to set ourselves a challenge of doing the 19:27 blue scarf every single home game for the entire season :bluescarf:

Or when Many perceived Tan to continually make this club a laughing stock, or when he reneged on his deal to change debt to equity, which is why so many were willing to accept this horrific rebrand in the first place....' :thumbright:

There is barely anything to die down, you lift a scarf for 60 seconds. Hardly the london riots now is it.

But naturally with you guys, if you are doing well in the league then the majority of the dissenters will be silenced with another hope of promotion to premier league football.

Could it be that Tan is the man with a master plan? Firstly, achieve promotion, then when everybody is happy and the demand for turning back to blue has died down a bit, Tan will announce that Cardiff will be playing in blue in the PL. This way, he would save face by giving the club its traditional colour back - at a point when he didn´t really have to (as everyone was happy anyway). With such news - after just having achieved promotion - people would be ecstatic and this would give the whole club a great boost in a second attempt to establish at the highest level.

Or maybe I´m just talking crap
