You can't have it all boys

Ole is concentrating on getting forwards at present. Whilst he likes to mix things up including formations, it appears he will play with 2 up top. That being the case everyone seems to be making a case for Noone Daelhi or another on the wing to feed them. Fair enough but this leaves us with space for only 2 central midfielders. We have just signed an Austrian and people seem to like Mutch. If only one of these plays, That leaves one place left and it would appear that most seem to favour an enforcer in the middle to ensure our creative players blossom. However, Witts has to play. He will be the one to make us tick as he did in the first 25 games in our last season in the Championship. Forget wing backs. They just get in the way of our wingers and if they push too much our wingers then have to drop back to cover them in the case of a break. So. - you can't have it all. Something has to give. I know we need a squad of players but in this division, settled sides always do well eg Burnley and to a certain extent us last time out. So when you say we need this and we need that, think carefully because we can only field 11 players at a time. :ayatollah:

Isn't the Austrian a winger not a CM

Not sure his exact position. However, it still does not answer the dilemma. If you play 2 up top and two wingers, you cannot field Mutch, an enforcer and Witts. Something has to give.

he will play different formations and different players each game...........thats what we have seen so far.. he seems to over think everything..in answer to your dilema, there were a couple of games last season where he played a lob sided midfield,a winger and full back one side..a wing back the other...........there are no hard and fast rules re formation,,,

He is a winger and naturally left footed. I think he will play out wide on the left.
