The Eastern Bay Link Road.

I see the council have a great vision for our capital to take it from strength to strength.

However, I notice one very important and strangely overlooked thing. They should concentrate firstly on competing the Eastern Bay Link Road.

This ring road from the East, is visitors first impression from that direction - tons of traffic, wild horses, scrap alley, dust, an untidy travellers site, overgrown land. This when completed will fast track the route directly to the Penarth, the Bay, CCS and Lloyd George avenue the gateway to the city from the south, it will clean and tidy up that neglected corner of the capital and will provide stunning sea views on the way, which at the moment is blocked by unkept messy landscapes. And then this will go over the top of the docks and link to the "chopped off" road out of the Butetown tunnels.

Do that first I say, the model looks great otherwise. :bluescarf:

This is correct Allan, the original plans included a link road where you say.

This should be a priority to be honest with you - maybe they will link it in when the new proposed M4 relief road comes about (A Westminster funded project) - as usual the Welsh assembly bumblers like talking and talking and talking, then coming up with the wrong conclusion or take no action (lunatics running the asylum comes to mind !! ).

Blooobirds Forever !!! :old: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:
