Jonathan Parr

Wed May 28, 2014 9:21 am

2012 player of the year at Crystal Palace has been released. Could use a left back really. His greatest strength is his attitude. A big weakness is that he is prone to injury. Every Norwegian loves Solskjaer, so maybe, just maybe, Solskjaer could tempt him, though I'm sure he will get offers from PL-clubs.

What do you say, would you welcome another Norwegian? Nah, who am I kidding. You guys just can't get enough :D

Sign him up, exactly the kind of hard working player we need!

We are well covered in the full back area for a championship club

Brayford/Mcnaughton RB
Fabio/John LB

Sell! If we don't get one for free now, we have to buy one next year . Lesson learned, plan two years ahead

bring him in and get rid of fabio, better player probably on half the wages! :ayatollah:

Remember watching him in the cup semi final and I honestly thought he was Paul McShane for a while with his hair, plus his erratic playing style and decision making! Hard working yes, but not comfortable on the ball and I think he's a terrible defender!

Sign him up! 2 LB and 2 RB is not enough!

He's no where near as good as Fabio

Is he f**k

Fabio is a far better player

He's fast, tireless and crosses very well, but his ball control and anticipation/ receiving isn't good enough for the type of football Ole wants to play I think.

Knowhere near as good as fabio. Fabio had a slow start but then improved massively with a run of games. He will be one of our most important players in the championship

I would prefer Ridgwell but that would be OK.

Not sure about this at all, could be the next Lappin, would rather we looked elsewhere. :ole:

Parr is quality. Yes, he may not be the best defender in the world but he is a much better option than Taylor, as Parr's strength is his pace. I would love to have Parr here even if he turned out to be back up for Declan John.

100% agreed. I think Fabio still has a hard time winning over fans just because of his error that gave the derby lead to Swansea. From about March onwards he was terrific.

if you think Fabio is a better player then fair enough.

not sure what playing in a champions league final has to do with it though.

Has Fabio? yes. has Leighton Baines? no :sleepy2:

Why is it a choice between Fabio and Parr? Isn't Fabio naturally right footed?
