Nyland had to make a couple of good saves in the opening 2 minutes. Since then hasn't had much to do. Was without a chance on the goal. A bit sloppy when playing long passes/ clearances under pressure but no real mistakes.
Dæhli has of course been very good, an offensive driving force. He's been let down a bit by players around him, notably left back Høgli and 'supposed' striker Elyounoussi (really a wing) who haven't been combining too well and both look frustrated. But overall he seems composed despite being 'packed in' by the French defence and has had a couple of raids, one of which looked especially dangerous.
Best players for Norway in the 1st half: Tettey > Dæhli > Johansen > King

Little faith in a win of course, with our key players all out with injury, but it has to be more respectable than the 2nd half today which was a Frankenstein show.

France looks pretty good, i don't think they will win anything but could do some damage Pogba is an absolute beast ManU were crazy to let him go.

The central midfield usually consists of Per Ciljan Skjelbred (HSV, injured) and either Stefan Johansen (Celtic, pushed out to wing because of other injuries) or Eikrem (hasn't played at all for Cardiff and lost his spot)
Mohammed Abdellaoue, arguably our most important player is usually a lone striker or partnered with Marcus Pedersen (not called up due to relegation to league 1 with Barnsley) but is also injured.
So the entire front 6, except for Dæhli, were either 2nd/ 3rd choice players or out of position.
Håvard Nordtveit in CB was also an experiment as he is usually a DM, and our right back was a 2nd choice player too.
I was expecting to lose heavily and thought we wouldn't even come close so I'm happy with the spell in the end of the first half.
