Great City signing all these new players, as long as it does not put us more in debt

But at the end of the day it does not matter how good the players are we sign, it's how that City are managed that will really matter?

Ole actually knows my opinion as we discussed it at the payer of the year evening, after he told me that he and many of the players read this forum.

I believe in honesty,I have loads of Respect for Ole as a person,but I am worried about next season,but I will be fully supporting him during every game,no matter what the results are

Honestly cannot belive how quick you jumped on a new managers back never easy coming in to a team not assembled by yourself in a relegation dogfight in any league yet alone the biggest league where the pressure to stay up is immense

I'm not saying ole is the right man here just sayin he should be given time to assemble his own squad which he will now have I will judge him in this seasons results only and complete disregard last season

The reason we want down was partly his fault but the biggest blame lies with the previous regime that once again failed to sign players in positions that were lacking the season before

Tan and the board also must shoulder a massive amount of blame for the circus surrounding our club

But to judge ole on last season is totally unfair IMO

You have Respect but I have the feeling you do not think he is the correct man for the job. I am happy we are doing business early but what about the defence

Nothing since Ole arrival has impressed me on the pitch and that to me with all these signings could turn out to be a waste.

Yes Ole inherited someone else squad but a good manager would have shown a bit of improvement. We totally collapsed even with Ole bringing in some of his own stuff. I'm not expecting much but like everyone else thinking like me I hope I am well off the mark.

I believe we will struggle with Ole next season he is a very naive manager and inexperienced manager, which showed last season with the amout of personal and formation changes he made week in week out. The championship is a very tough league and I believe you need a manager with experience at that level to get promoted

I like Ole, but I have my doubts too, last season we were too open and were easy to take apart.

My hope though that with a full preseason and the drop to a lower level, his attacking style will work ?

He is definately going for it with the Strikers he is signing. I just hope he signs some defenders and maybe calls on one of his old Pals, someone like Neville or Palister to do some defensive work. Fingers crossed he gets it right and we have a fantastic attack minded season....

All ole needs to learn from last year is that squad rotation at the levels he was attempting it with the quality of players we have doesn't work .

If he finds his best 11 out of this squad and keeps to a solid formation we will be very strong and should be top 2

It's impossible to tell at the moment, the squad is only just starting to be built. He is the position that has heeded strengthening for years years and trying to bring in strikers.

We will be selling a load as long as we can get back half of what Malky wasted I'd be happy to reinvest that.

Just need to give the guy the chance to show what he can do with his own players. He's brought in 3 now for next to nothing and hopefully can shift some of the more expensive ones out to cut the debt a little.

He inherited a side with just 1 half-decent striker and real issues at wing, full-back and central midfield. some of his tactical selections seemed weird, but maybe he was just trying desperately to find a mix that worked.

I'm looking forward to seeing how it all works out.

We certainly seem to have a lot more options up front and perhaps the best striker coming in to have worn the City shirt for 40+ years in Guerra ?

super kev,brayford,ktc,fabio,declan,taylor,cala,hudson,connolley,turner..how mant defenders do we need?
and 4 of them were signed for the prem.............im not naming caulker as im pretty sure he will b gone......but we have 9..thats enough

Felix magath is a gd manager who suffered his first relegation, so there goes that theory.

negative i think annis ,we will have a much better squad than the year we won it ,great free transfers so far if we only lose campbell,medal,caulker and marshel but get a few more in i will be happy

I'd hope at least 4 of them will be gone and maybe John loaned out as well. Need to get players first but I'd like better quality defenders in but in time.

Regarding OGS, personally I'm looking forward to his first full season with his own players and a full pre season. I've been impressed with his activity so far.

Negative imo. Give Ole a chance. He is still learning management but he is intelligent and has a good understanding of the game and has an excellent pedigree. Seems to be making a few positive signings and getting them on board nice and early.

He walked into a mess of club.
No confidence in the dressing room and a horrible set of fixtures.

And despite that people jumped on his back from the start.
Nothing to do with his ability just a form of loyalty to the previous regime.
He was Tans poster boy despite him being Dalmans choice.

He deserves a chance and a fair crack of the whip.

In all fairness the ones who get slagged off are 9 times out of 10 the same ones who put no effort in whatsoever week in week out , or it is the ones who are constantly making the same mistake all the time and not improving there overall game .

The Players are grown men I'm sure they can take a bit of criticism , it may actually help them

Ole has nothing to do with it, it's not him who dictates finances, if he is offered funds whatever way they're in(loans or actual money) he will take it.
