Tonight: Dæhli in very attacking starting line-up for Norway

Tue May 27, 2014 3:38 pm

France vs. Norway tonight at 20:00 UK time.

Norway's new regime of free-flowing attacking football under new management is set to get a tough test tonight.

The rumoured Cardiff City transfer target goalkeeper Ørjan Nyland, and CCFC established young midfielder Mats Dæhli are both in the likely starting line-up for Norway tonight against football giants France.

Mats Møller Dæhli says to VG he is in particular looking forward to playing against former teammate Paul Pogba.

The team is not confirmed, but the Norwegian newspaper has got a stipulated team sheet which is expected to be the one that kicks off in Paris.

-----------------------------------Ørjan Nyland-------------------------------
Martin Linnes----Håvard Nordtveit-----Brede Hangeland-----Tom Høgli
Stefan Johansen----Anders Konradsen----Ruben Y. Jenssen----Mats M. Dæhli
-------------------Håvard Nielsen---------------Tarik Elyounoussi

Vegard Forren, another possible CCFC target is likely to be on the bench because coach Høgmo wants to evaluate how Borussia Mönchengladbach defensive midfielder Håvard Nordtveit fares in central defence.

For anyone watching: Pay a bit of attention to the right back Martin Linnes (Molde).

I think we'll see a lot of Nyland tonight:) This starting lineup is pretty weak.
