What about Harry Maguire of Sheffield United?

He's young, he's tall, can play a bit, MOM against Cardiff couple of years back.

Has represented England at age level and Wolves are sniffing around him.

Again would he come, surely we would be a better career move than Wolves.

Yeah, I agree. I must admit that I've hardly seen him play, but he's highly rated. 21 years old and three full seasons as CB. That's something special. For the reported £1m i think he'd be an absolute steal. Do think Sheffield United will be wanting more than that reported £1m though.

Turner/Hudson as one CB
Cala as the other with conolly as cover
Fabio as LB with John as cover.


IMO we only need one more signing of a solid CM an enforcer.

i think we need a centre back though, a leader to take the position that Hudson had two seasons ago. I have serious doubts over weather hes going to be the player he was.

Cala and a new guy in the middle, with Turner and Connelly as cover is more than good enough in this division.

100% agree mate, add Ridgewell to what we already have and I think we should be good to go for next season.

I think it will be interesting to see who is going to be preferred at full back, with Fabio, John and Taylor able at left back and Kev, Theo, Brayford and Connolly at right back. Surely not all are going to be kept on and I'm sure none of these players are going to settle for being 3rd/4th choice in the championship, it'll be interesting to see who Ole goes with.

Jamaal lascelles would be a top signing of intent! I would be over the moon if we got that kid!

I'd be surprised if Ben Turner is still here come season start. He's a great defender, but no good with the ball. Doesn't really fit with the way Solskjaer wants to play. You gotta think he'd be worth more to other teams than Cardiff. Usually that means the player goes.

The way Ole spoke about Turner at the end of the season I'd be surprised if he was to leave. I do agree though playing from the back is something Ole encourages and Turner doesnt exactly fit the bill. I think we will need his resilience and know how in the championship.

Nothing spectacular or fancy...........just some who can defend, tackle and head the ball..........being able to pass the ball as well or am i asking a bit too much.............they only train 5 times a week after all.
