Didn't realise he was released, snap him up Ole and let's hope to God that Cowie doesn't sign this contract he's been offered.

He is? Out of contract in june? Snap him up! Exactly the hard worker we need in midfield
But then Berget or Eikrem need to go imo. To many Norwegians..

Tettey is not out of contract. Norwich exercised the option of extending his contract in February for one year. Tettey has stated that he may leave Norwich in order to keep his spot on the national team, but Cardiff is in the same division so a move wouldn't help much. In addition, I don't believe Solskjaer has much of a connection with Tettey. Both Norwegian and that's it.

Are there any players you think OGS may be after that he's worked with before? Nyland was mentioned in January but nothing since

So difficult to say. Nyland is talented, but I don't think he would be trusted to be no. 1 at Cardiff. I certainly wouldn't trust him. At the moment Nyland is playing every week at Molde and is quickly establishing his national team place. I am not sure a move is right for any party for the time being.

There is the CB Vegard Forren who I think is likely to move to Cardiff if/when he plays like he did in 2012 before the move to Southampton.

Solskjaer tried to bring Mohamed Elyonoussi (winger/free role offensive player) to Molde. His successor did bring him in, and he is a fantastic talent. He is impressing at the moment, but it's still a bit early for him. He may be a January signing. If Solskjaer waits too long bigger teams will spoil the fun. He'd be quite expensive though.

I'd also say the RB Martin Linnes if Cardiff needed one.

Also read Parr was released from Palace and we do need a left back (Fabio is right back ;) )
So that youtube vid on Nyland is far from the truth then?

If Parr has been released it's not been picked up by Norwegian media. I thought he was still wanted there, but concidering his options. His contract does expire in the summer. Parr has a fantastic attitude and is proven at the Championship level. He would be a great addidtion, but I don't think he has any connection with Solskjaer.

I am not saying that Nyland isn't good. Just that he may well prefer to stay at Molde rather than risk playing 2. violin at Cardiff. It would, in my opinion, be the wise desicion to stay. Especially concidering his place in the national squad.

Norway isn't a village, just because a player is Norwegian doesn't mean Ole has history with them. That said, Tettey is a decent player, not our first choice DM on the national team but a good backup. He is strong and understands football well, I just don't like his passing ability. And somehow, for some reason, whenever he plays on the National team he gets into crossing positions and the guy couldn't cross the salt across a table.

He would for sure do well in the championship. But he needs to play simple passes.

Of course Tettey is 1st Choice at the Norwegian national team. Has just been injury prone.

And no, he isn't a bad passer. From his time in Rennes (quote Nettavisen.no)

Alexander Tettey has completed 88.3% of passes in Ligue 1 this season, the best % of any player with more than 500 passes.

Good statistics in Norwich too.

Hahaha no way, Nordtveit is twice the player Tettey is, hell, even Strandberg is about equal and will be better when he's developed. Hahaha. Rich. Hehehe. I also didn't say his passing was bad, his passing technique is. He's too easy to read.

Is he better than Gunnarsson? :?:
