650k was a steal, he done it for us in even short time, if with 2 strikers I think he can do the job.

People have short memories, he was played up top on his own in the Premier League for the majority of the season and with our team, I couldn't expect anymore from him.

That's how I see it. His ratio for us in the championship was 7 in 12. Over a full season that would see him on 20+. The people saying he doesn't cut it in the premier league need to remember where we are

Some sense. People need to look at the difference of Odemwingie from playing for us to playing for Stoke. Campbell contributed hugely but if he was in a better team with a Peter Crouch to play alongside, he would be even better.

Is that why he misses almost 60% of his shots? Not enough quality players around him :?

If we let him go for £1 million as is being touted by Leicester I think we'll be letting him go far to cheaply but then again I don't know what's been written into his contract.

Campbell's chance conversion ratio wasn't actually that bad, especially as he was fatigued with the majority of chances he had after running himself into the ground. He also had to create a lot of chances by himself too because of the lack of service he had. The last clear cut chance I saw Campbell miss was that header home to Wigan, but he also scored with his only other chance that game, so that's a 1 in 2 strike rate that game. His first chance home to Liverpool, he took it and I don't recall him having another chance that game, so I could say that's a 100% chance conversion ratio that game.

Other games, Campbell didn't get a single chance, he probably had something like 1 chance every 3 games and if he missed that 1 chance because of tiredness etc, it's going to stand out more. Campbell showed he's a better player than Odemwingie and when you see Odemwingie at Stoke being given service, having more chances created for him and scoring more goals, it makes you wonder what Campbell could have done last season if he was in a better team.

Me and you live on two different planets when it comes to football, which is ok. I never understand what you are trying to say in football terms. I rate Noone, Mutch, Whitts and Daelhi higher than Cambell, so that makes his servers good enough. I saw 1-3 shots he should have scored every game, and i mean every game. Fair enough he was often a lone striker. But he never could win a duel or hold up the ball. Funny enough Ole is in the same opinion as me, and looking to strengthen our strike force. But i will never fault his commitment and work ethics. They are top notch

From our recent games, Campbell didn't have a single chance away to Sunderland and had a great chance early on at Newcastle which he dragged just wide, which he should have scored. Campbell also had one half chance home to Chelsea which he created himself out of nothing and blazed over, but that was hardly a clear chance, he did very well to create that chance for himself. In that same game, Chelsea players worth tens of millions each missed chance after chance, I lost count how many chances Salah missed, Torres missed an open goal and Oscar missed a one on one.

You can't expect Campbell or any other footballer to convert the majority of his chances because it's unrealistic. But Campbell's conversion rate is actually a lot better than people give him credit for. You're right, we're on two different planets, especially if you can't understand the clear points I'm making in football terms. Campbell will get 20 goals plus next season if he's still with us and all his knockers will then be thinking that maybe Campbell can finish after all.
