It's imperative to get early deals done in any league IMO especially when you have a big job of overhauling like ole does
Already strengthening key positions which is something other management failed to do
We will need another CB as caulker is defo on way out maybe a left back but Taylor and John are more than good enough for this level
Think we need a box to box midfielder and another striker and I'd say the team is good enough to bounce straight back up look at it on paper and it's no worse than the team that got promoted

I personally don't think we need any other player in apart from a midfield general who has been there, done it and has the experience, knowledge and leadership qualities to motivate, drive the team on and steer us to promotion. Preferably a midfield dog as that's exactly what we are lacking. If only Shaun Derry was a few years younger. I would love someone like Tim Cahill to come in but Ole has already signed that Austrian and with Daehli, Noone, Mutch and Whittingham, we are fine with attacking midfielders. Our squad drastically lacks an experienced leader (assuming Hudson won't be a regular next season).

It comes from knowing who we will lose, easier in our position that many other teams.
Zaha, Bellamy, Lappin and Smith have all departed
Marshall, Caulker, Medel, Campbell, Cowie, maybe Mutch all likely to depart eve replaced Zaha/Bellamy and maybe Campbell. So look for us to bring in a CB, DM, utility midfielder (if Cowie leaves), A GK and another number ten (if Mutch goes)
That said I am glad the club are working early. Much better than whatever Malky was doing last summer.

Another Striker

Id say were strong enough with Guerra, Maynard, Mason and possibly Campbell/Grabban.
Agree though squad is very strong but would like it to not be too good, love the playoffs

The amount of threads that Malky gets brought into are ridiculous!

We're not even in June yet and 2, potentially 3 signings could be confirmed, it's great as it prepares us for pre-season. Gives players more of a chance of settling in

At the end of the day, whilst we've still got the same players who got us promotion, most of them can't play Ole's way, and more importantly most of them aren't used to winning games anymore. Ole is right to start overhauling the squad, else we'd be nowhere near the top six, in my opinion.

Hopefully we can keep Marshall and Mutch, we need quality, and both have great attitudes
