The most technically gifted centre back in the world and probably the most technically gifted holding midfielder in the world, apart from Pirlo perhaps. David Luiz is not a cetre back, he's a holding midfielder and he put in some huge performances as a holding midfielder this season, home to Man Utd, away to Man City etc. Luiz was a colossus in those big games so I'm shocked Chelsea are letting him go.

I'm also shocked they're letting him go but nobody could turn down £50m for him. I'd say he's worth more around the £25-30m mark. Great business by Chelsea though

Not worth it but can definitely see why Jose wants to let him go. He is too adventures for a defender which doesn't suit Jose's preference of defenders.
He is more suited as a deep midfielder, distributing the ball forward but even in that role he still thinks he can take everyone on. Not worth 50m at all.

Remember his mistake for Mutch goal at Stamford bridge? £50m centre half he is not

He's 27 and never hit a full potential where everyone raves about him on repeat, I would be on a piss up celebrating 40+ million plus for David Luiz.

Fair play to Chelsea for such a shrewd move. Maybe the PSG manager is a big Simpsons fan and wants Sideshow Bob in his team...
