Cornelius in the Champions League

Fri May 23, 2014 12:41 pm

He was bought into City at the wrong price and wrong wage by (Hmm Hmm) MM.
He got injured immediately/ wasnt fit and was not given much opportunity in a losing CITY TEAM PLAYING negative defensive football WITH NO WIDTH. Then we bring in attack minded players and a fast winger (Zaha) and we sell Cornelius! That might not have been a bad thing cos of his wages BUT we buy K Jones in his place!! You couldnt make it up.
The irony is I think that AC was "one for the future" -he will do well in the longer term and would have been great in the Championship.

I notice he scored again in FC Copenhagens last game and hit the bar! That result means they qualify for the Champions league.

They are the best out of a shit bunch, they always qualify, the Celtic or rangers of the league if you may.

I hope they fail to make it past the qualifying rounds so we don't have the story of the useless Dane branded about on here or by the press as some kind of redemption story. A good player no doubt and probably moved here at the wrong time in his career but 8m was far too much for a player of his stature
