Talented by the looks

Ole could have pulled off someone very good here.

But remember - this is only his best bits! Corno's youtube video looked good too

I don't think anyone knows really, but I like his name lol.

Hopefully an Austrian will come on here and tell us more about him.

Whitts, Eikrem, Daehli, Burgstaller, Mutch, Gunnar, Noone, Kim, Cowie

Strong midfield line up - but can we cope with a rotation system?
do we play 5 in the middle and Guerra as a lone striker?
Is someone above leaving?

Re: Who is Guido Burgstaller

We need more power in the midfield. Wouldn't mind us signing Nathaniel Chalobah on loan or someone of that ilk.

Re: Who is Guido Burgstaller

Looks promising, seems to fit into the category of Ole's so called style of football, looks very direct, tricky and doesn't look scared to have a pop.

Youtube videos can be very misleading as we have found on many occasions but fingers crossed we've picked up a talent here. Welcome Guido. :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Looks like a powerful midfielder and strong runner.

I can see some attractive football from us next season due to our pace on the flanks. We do need some steel and bite in the center now though

Can't imagine all of those will stay. OGS is building his own squad and will let go some of the previous managers players IMO.

Kim and cowie need to go for me, possibly Gunnar as we as I think he hasn't been the same player since his shoulder injury.

So why didn't malky play him? He was warming the bench most of the time.

He was giving him time to bed in, when Kim was given the chance he was possibly our stand out player in the last quater of the season. Didn't replicate that form as much as we would've like last year but I'm confident he can do the business next season. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I think OGS likes Kim. I would let go of Gunnar and cowie though, Ogs wants to play possession based football I don't see how those two fit into that?

Is that why we won like 1 game in 12 in the last quarter of the season :?

If we're going to play 442 with Grabban and Guerra as our main strike force we need another solid midfield player, especially if the idea is to play Whitts (for me, and I love Whitts, he doesn't work in a two man midfield he needs a number ten and a DM doing work around him to let him do what he does best).

People need to get off Gunnar though, in the Championship he's a fine player in a DM position and seeing as he'll probably fight that out with Mutch or another then we'll be fine.

Because he was fresh in from Asian football mate, you break players in especially coming into the physical championship. Granted he was a let down in the pl but I think he's got a chance to redeem himself this year he's got bags of skill just needs to use it more often

I'm not going to get excited by or judge any unknown player until they've had a good run in the side.

The most important things are:
1. What's his Fifa ratings
2. Is he any good on football manager
