wont he be 33 in the championship ?
I think if his goals win us promotion the investment will be more than profitable for the club.
he could be a great squad player next season as well in the premiership if promoted. I dont see a future after that but if he contributes to promotion and avoiding the drop it will be great

This is a guy who was the 6th top scorer in La Liga in a RELEGATED side. He had scored 69 goals in 146 games (most being in the second tier which is the same standard of the Championship) which is a very good record.
Our fans are never happy, if we signed Ronaldo you'd complain because he is nearly 30.

When I say Bellamy type I mean big player for Championship level rather than wages. However even the wages he's on is big for the Championship level IMO

Over 3 years through as he will be gone after one season so its not £15k per week really is it. In reality its £45k per week for the one season which he will star.
You cant blame him but he's just come here for one pay cheque to cover him until he's 36!!!

I never said he is on 15k a week. You said you could get someone half his wage so I assume Javi is on 25k-30k a week which led me to say 15k, get it? Not hard to understand.
Anyway, as you completely avoided my question, I'll ask again. Name me one player who fits which fits the criteria above

He'd cost a few million. Reading are our promotion rivals next season, why would they potentially sell their best striker to us? He also said he wants to stay and will accept a new contract if offered.
Still waiting Mr.Scout.

8 a week for 3 years is £1.2m so even better especially when TV income dropping.
