I am assuming that the new steel being hoisted is for the front of the roof cantilever, BUT being a Meccano expert I am having difficulty seeing how it attaches to the rear roof steel already up there.

I blame you joncandy for living in the past and not dealing in video, it would have been obvious then.

Just watching the Javi Guerra Interview and the stand is coming along nicely. It looks bloods massive.

It'll be one hell of a ground if its ever like that all the way around.

Anybody else finding it strange there's no windows on the outside?

Was having a good gander at it yesterday mate, and it looks like there's gunna be glass In The centre of it, bit like the front of the stadium. Was that what you ment?

They were doing that when I was coming home from work earlier. It's huge, so big I thought it was the new roof. Makes you think what the size of the new one is when that goes in!

Yes windows on each side for sun light to get into the concourse areas, and one at the front for the same I'd imargin

Tan knows how sensitive the colour issue is yet has carried on regardless yet again and this is another example of his disregard of our feelings. Anyone thinking he will compromise on colour in future are just kidding themselves as we might see a slight token gesture but this will be another case of being left with the crumbs off his red rebrand table.
Fans should be allowed a refund for sure due to not being informed of the seat colour before hand. Normally this would sound ridiculous but given the sensitivities over the colour and rebrand then these issues are justification in this case. Now if the seat colour had been announced previously and fans still purchased then they would have no grounds for complaints.
Some fans have mentioned on this post that the protests would be forgotten if we are at the top of the championship but what if we were near the bottom?. It's not an issue of league position but an issue of right or wrong.

I read (no pun intended) somewhere that the red beams are simply the fire retardant type which have been left exposed. Other than the badges the rest is grey so no biggy to change things around if he decides to do it.

No really, I think what I was getting at is that on the front of the stadium there is a fair bit of glass allowing a lot of light into the lounges on the different levels. Other than what I imagine will be glass patio type doors onto the pitch then the new section of the stadium seems pretty enclosed with very little natural light coming in. I guess though as its north facing the light won't be coming in directly anyway but still seems odd.

Light will still get to the stand through the sides, I'd imagine they'll have Perspex in there to allow light onto the pitch. There's not as much lounge area on this stand as the grandstand so less glass is needed on the outside

Agreed, its going to be amazing! I'm over int he family stand so going to be a great wall of sound when its full
