His 15 goals matched gareth bale and was one less than Carlos Vela and 2 less than Karim Benzema

4 less than Sanchez and 3 more than David Villa

All for a rubbish team too....

6 ft tall as well so should be able to deal with the physical side of the Championship too.

To be honest even though it was said in January he was signing I haven't followed his progress this season, but as Annis says above the Spanish a League is tough and seeing the goals he has scored this season makes it look like an impressive signing, just a shame he is not a few years younger.

The nice weather, and less aggressive tackling in Spain will probably mean he's in extremely good condition... Give him a season in the championship, and he'll feel like an old age pensioner lol by the way, thats pretty impressive being ninth top scorer considering he was playing in a relegation team

Another interesting statistic lads - Vela played 8 games more and finished on 17 goals
and benzema totalled 50 games

His goals include a few against the top teams in that league.
