Cardiff hopes of landing top target Lewis Grabban could be scuppered by interest from Derby in the Bournemouth striker. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has had a bid accepted by the Cherries after his buy-out clause was reached but that does not mean any deal is done and now Derby are said to be interested. The 26-year-old was the star man at Bournemouth last season, scoring an impressive 22 goals in 43 starts for the Cherries, and Steve McClaren would like to add him to his Rams side. Much will depend on their play-off final clash with QPR, a win for the Rams means they would be able to offer Premier League football and that could be enough to swing the deal for Derby and leave Cardiff looking elsewhere.
